myCNC control software supports Kerf compensation with Visualization of both original and compensated toolpath for easy visual control/

myCNC control supports stop & resume cutting from any position of toolpath (even in the middle of line/arc).
Start position can be chosen by g-code line, pierce number or coordinate.

myCNC contains cutcharts - database of cutting modes (cutting speed, arc voltage, cutting gases,  cutting, transfer and pierce height, pierce time and some other parameters depends on material type, material thickness, plasma torch (source), process type etc). Cutchart database can be easily imported from XML or CSV(Excel) files or filled in Cutcharts dialogs. Cutchart mode can be filtered by thickness, process current, torch type, plasma torch nozzle etc.

Cutchart filtering can be customized in myCNC software

myCNC control has advanced THC for plasma, gas, laser cutting applications. Many of myCNC controllers (ET1, ET5, ET7, ET10) has built-in THC (Torch Height Controller) suitable for plasma, gas, laser applications. myCNC controllers have ADC inputs. ANy of ADC inputs can be configured as input for THC control. A reference value for Arc Voltage THC can be setup from cutcharts (pre-defined mode) or measured just after piercing finished (measure mode). A pre-defined mode is classic method. myCNC contains cutcharts fro Hypertherm, Kjellberg, Thermadyne power sources so the manufacturer's advised Arc Voltage can be used to achieve the best cut quality.

However, Arc Voltage is fluctuating during consumables (nozzle/electrode) lifetime and better to adjust Arc Voltage by measure voltage 1 sec after pierce finished and use this voltage as Reference Arc Voltage. In this case, it's possible to get stable cut height independent on consumables lifetime.

Both methods are widely used for plasma cutting and myCNC customers can choose.

myCNC controllers have built-in PLC controller. Initial Height control (IHC) can be flexibly implemented through PLC procedures. We have many IHC methods implemented like -

  • Probing with touch sensor pulled by pneumatic cylinder
  • setup low-level torque control for Z-axis servo driver moves down till encoder C-label is stalled
  • Connect High voltage on the plasma torch nozzle and probing material till voltage shorted.

Almost any algorithm can be implemented with myCNC PLC & macro language.

myCNC control supports Marker. We have implementations for plasma marking, scribe marking, plasma dots marking. Plasma marking and plasma cutting with an automatical switch between cutting/marking units is supported. Visualization for marking ais supported as well.

myCNC has DXF/HPGL import and converts to g-code file. For plasma cutting, lead-in/lead-outs can be added to toolpath. Different Tool/Technology (plasma/oxyfuel/marking etc) can be assigned for each DXF layer, automatical switch between tools is supported

 myCNC control supports Bevel Cutting.

The ET7 control board is the best choice for plasma-gas cutting applications. The board contains 6  pulse-dir motor outputs, 16 galvanic isolated inputs, 6 differential line driver inputs, 11 open collector outputs, 5 power relay outputs (pluggable relay easy to replace), optional 25 keys operator panel.

ET7 has 8 ADC inputs, 2 of them are specially designed with complete galvanic isolation for usage with any type of plasma power source. ET7 galvanic isolated inputs accept Voltage up to 9V, so Arc Voltage divider is needed to use with ET7.

ET7 control board can be supplied with single board computer (ARM 4 cores, 1500MHz, 2G RAM, 16G Flash, Linux OS, myCNC pre0installed).

myCNC software can be used with standard desktop (home/industrial style) and Windows or Linux OS (both 32 and 64 bits).
