Our History

1997

  • The team performs a plasma cutting machine retrofit employing the latest technologies available. The work performed on the retrofit becomes the basis for the first generation of our controllers.

  • First-Generation controller working on a plasma/oxyfuel machine

2004-2006 

  • A number of bevel cutting machines set up with our 2nd generation of controllers

2008

  • myCNC project started. This electronic package for CNC control aims to be the go-to package for any and all CNC needs
  • First samples of enhanced chamfer cutting on an oxyfuel machine

2009

  • First control console prototype for a plasma/oxyfuel machine
  • First host controller for peripheral devices
  • Developed our first operator panel
  • Prototype board for the myCNC-ET1 controller
  • Stepper drivers prototypes

2010

  • ET1 controller released, based on the 2009 prototype

2013

  • Puruvesi Automation company formed in Ottawa, Canada
  • ET3 controller released
  • ET5 controller released

2014

  • myCNC software package ported onto Single-Board Computers

2015

  • ET10 controller is developed, featuring 48 binary inputs and 24 binary outputs

2016

  • ET7 controller is released as a replacement to the ET1

|

2017

  • ET6 controller is developed as a replacement to the ET3, and, along with the ET7, becomes one of our most popular boards to date

2018

  • The CNC Vision system is released, allowing for advanced calibration and adjustment of imported files

|

2019

  • Currently under development: ET15 controller, stone milling (machining) with full system-integrated height correction, and more
